55 Beautiful Quotes About Self-Love

Quotes About Self Love

Here are 55 beautiful inspirational quotes to inspire self-love and personal acceptance.

Easier said than done right?

Have a think about how you feel when you’re at your very best.

Maybe you’re killing it at work. Or your exercise routine is starting to pay off. Or maybe when you’re relationship is going really well. Maybe you’re easily juggling all of life’s balls. Or when life just feels…better.

It’s easier to like and accept yourself during those times. But not so easy during the more challenging times.

Which is counter-intuitive really. Especially considering that those people who are able to love, respect and accept themselves more, are more likely to:

  • have greater confidence,
  • more success,
  • live a happier life,
  • be more empathetic and understanding of others,
  • live a less fear-based life,
  • have less self-imposed stress,
  • have a greater self-awareness and
  • the ability to focus on their life’s missions.

Ah… sign me up, right?

Well, the journey to self-love is not always easy, but it is definitely worth aiming for.

Self-Love & Self-Esteem

We could all use a little more self-compassion and self-love in our lives. By reading the above inspirational quotes, I hope that they will open your mind to the standards that you set for yourself, and for how others treat you.

I will admit that I used to find the notion of self-love quite egotistical and selfish.

But in fact, the lack of self-love does not do anybody any favours. For ourselves or our loved ones. It’s limiting ourselves greatly.

As a mother, it also caused me to think about how we play a big role in modelling how our children should be treating themselves and their future successes, and that alone is powerful.

Getting to know ourselves better – our strengths and weaknesses – and really owning and accepting them is an enormous concept.

If you were able to improve your self-love, how do you think this could benefit you?
