Law Of Assumption Affirmations – For Your Desired State
These law of assumption affirmations are a great tool to add to your daily practice and can help align your mindset with where you want it to be.
What is The Law of Assumption?
In simple terms, the law of assumption implies that if we can assume, or ‘take on’, the thoughts, beliefs and feelings of our desired state, we will then be able to bring about the actions, reactions and therefore the results of our desired state.
It’s based on the initial understanding that our current thoughts and beliefs create our current feelings, actions, reactions, results and therefore our current physical reality.
Now, if we don’t like our current physical reality, we need to ‘nip’ the problem in the bud by changing our thoughts and beliefs at the very core.
Neville Goddard believed that we do this by moving from the current state to the newer, more desirable state by ‘assuming’ it as already done.
How do you manifest with the law of assumption?
In order to manifest with the law of assumption, you need to hold the belief that what you want is already yours. It’s done.
You can do this by speaking affirmations out loud or to yourself, visualizing yourself already having what you want, meditating, acting ‘as if’, or writing down what you want as if it has already happened.
The key is to believe that you already have what you want, and that it is only a matter of time before it manifests in your life.
Goddard believed that once the inner (thoughts, beliefs and feelings etc) are on board, then there will be an easy and effortless move to think, speak and act in line with these beliefs. From there, the actions and reactions become effortless and produce the results in the outer world.
How do you affirm the law of assumption?
You can affirm the law of assumption by repeating positive statements that imply that your goal, or desired state, is already a reality.
Depending on your goal, or desired state, you will be affirming the beliefs that will be in line with someone who has what you want.
For example, when you have the money, partner, body, job etc that you want, how will you feel? How will you act and what will you do?
Make sure your affirmations are in line with these.
By repeating these statements, you will start to believe them, and the law of assumption will begin to work in your life.
The law of assumption is a powerful tool that can change your life if you use it correctly and affirmations are just one of the many tools that you can use to ‘train your brain’ towards this new way of thinking.
