Happy Wife Happy Life Quotes & Sayings

What does ‘happy wife happy life’ mean?

The phrase “happy wife, happy life” is an old, yet popular one that is often used to describe that when your partner is happy, you will have a happier life too.

While the phrase may be overused and oversimplified, there is a lot of truth to the fact that when we respect our partners, we’re grateful for them and all they do and we genuinely want the very best for them – this kind of relationship ‘karma‘ is returned to us.

Nobody could argue that a happy partner means a happier, harmonious family and home life. However, it’s far too simplistic to think that we can control somebody else’s happiness. Or think that putting their happiness over our own is a key to happiness.

However, while the phrase “happy wife, happy life” is often used jokingly, there is some truth to it. A happy partner does tend to lead to a happier life. The following quotes and sayings help to explain the concept further – some with an interesting take on it …
