What does ‘spiritual’ mean in simple words?

Words that we use to connect with or think about things bigger than ourselves are often thought of as ‘spiritual’.

Benediction: This word is also used in Christian and Jewish contexts and means a formal blessing.
Buddha: The founder of Buddhism, Siddhartha Gautama.
God: There is no one word in English that can accurately translate the concept of God in all religions. However, words like deity, divine, and supreme might come close.
